IVECO Services elevate Customer Experience with evolving digital and connectivity features

The constantly evolving and expanding portfolio of IVECO Services is designed to enhance customer uptime, productivity, efficiency and safety. These services are enabled by the latest innovations driven by connectivity, digital advancements, and added-value partnerships. They address customer needs in eMobility, Uptime, Productivity & Efficiency, Driver Care, and Safety and Security.

On the road to decarbonisation, IVECO is introducing innovative services to support the adoption of zero emission vehicles. The new IAA product premieres - eMoovy and S-eWay Rigid - benefit from eRemote Control, Easy App and Smart Routing services enhancing driving experience and vehicle efficiency while reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through advanced controls and battery analytics. eRange Assurance alerts on the remaining charge of the vehicle and new predictive algorithms for battery monitoring complete the Uptime proposition.

IVECO is ready to provide high-quality customer support, service and genuine parts for its zero-emission line-up through its Customer Uptime Centre, 900 service points, and extensive ELEMENTS Maintenance and Repair contracts. At IAA, IVECO also presents new charging solutions to facilitate the electrification of customer facilities, including the new charger Recommended by IVECO, which will be available for the eDaily and eMoovy in Germany starting from September 2024. These advances help IVECO customers manage their electric vehicle operations by providing peace of mind and maximising uptime.

In addition to its focus on eMobility, IVECO is committed to further enhancing the sustainability of its gas and diesel vehicles through its solutions dedicated to Fuel Efficiency. Through its Professional Fuel Report and Eco-Driving training, IVECO provides actionable insights and recommendations to optimise driving behaviour, thereby reducing fuel consumption (by up to 4%) and lowering emissions. Moreover, the evolution of predictive algorithms - with over 30 components already covered and more to come - ensures that vehicles operate at peak efficiency, maximising availability and extending their lifespan. These initiatives not only contribute to reducing the environmental impact of vehicles but also deliver significant cost savings for customers, reinforcing IVECO's commitment to sustainable, TCO-effective transportation solutions.

IVECO is previewing its new IVECO Road Assistant service at IAA, designed to increase the driver’s awareness and safety while driving by providing real-time information about road events ahead through the vehicle’s infotainment system. The driver will also be able to interact with IVECO Road Assistant using Driver Pal, IVECO’s on-board vocal driver companion powered by Amazon Alexa technology, enhancing safety even further. The new service will be first introduced on the IVECO S-Way starting from 2025.

The continuous development of the IVECO ON portal further enhances the customers’ business productivity with services such as Tacho Data Download, which enables remote operation and reduces administrative tasks required by Tachograph regulations. Additionally, new safety and security solutions, such as Collision Claims Management, which makes handling accident claims more efficient, and Stolen Vehicle Assistance, which helps in the swift recovery of stolen vehicles with a 24/7 Security Centre operating in connection with police forces. These services aim to lower administrative costs and insurance expenses, resulting in a lower Total Cost of Ownership.

The latest digital introductions include easy, precise navigation with the integration of the innovative what3words location technology in the IVECO light and heavy vehicles navigation service by the end of 2024. Text input will be enabled first, followed by voice entry serviced by IVECO Driver Pal, which will be available from 2025. This unique feature developed by what3words has eliminated difficulties that can arise with imprecise street addresses and remote locations by dividing the world into a grid of 3m x 3m squares and giving each square a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. The integration of what3words will enhance the vehicle’s routing accuracy, reduce delivery times and simplify drivers’ lives.

The brand is also introducing the exclusive Third-Party App Integration, which allows bodybuilders and customers to interact with body functionalities through the vehicle’s connectivity on the infotainment system on all MY24 vehicles. Starting next year, this onboard marketplace will offer drivers and customers third-party essential apps for their work, easily accessible from the vehicle’s infotainment without the need for an internet connection or a mobile device, thanks to the standard Connectivity Box.

IAA visitors will have the opportunity to navigate the new store in the S-Way cab on display at the IVECO booth.

The evolution of connectivity and digital features on board enhances the driver’s experience and well-being. IVECO's vehicle infotainment system now includes Amazon Alexa Built-in. It provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface, enabling drivers to manage features using voice commands, thus delivering a complete invehicle experience. IVECO Driver Pal, the pioneering on-board vocal travel companion developed using Amazon Web Services (AWS) technology and featuring the fully integrated Amazon Alexa Built-in experience, is expanding its voice command capabilities on IVECO's electric vehicles eDaily and S-eWay Rigid.

Through an effective partnership grounded in research and development with PETRONAS Lubricants International, IVECO Services offers innovative lubricants solutions to optimise the use of its vehicle range, meeting the demands of the European road transport industry.

Financial Services designed to empower the customers’ business

IVECO customers can rely on IVECO CAPITAL’s expanding financial services portfolio. In the German market, the brand has just introduced PREMIUM PROTECT, a new insurance coverage available through the IVECO dealer network that offers comprehensive protection for vehicles and bodies including salvage and repatriation costs, braking, operational and breakage damage.

At IVECO CAPITAL corner, IVECO customers can also discover the latest smart services launched including the mobility service card in collaboration with Eurowag and IVECO PAY, the hub integrated with IVECO ON for paying a wide range of services, including telematics and e-mobility offerings.

GATE, the digital company launched at IAA 2022 to facilitate a seamless transition to electric sustainable mobility, has now expanded its operations to Germany, its second market after Italy. The innovative pay-per-use formula, tailored to the customer based on vehicle usage, now available on the extensive eDaily range, will be extended to a broader range of electric commercial vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.
