Pete Harvey

Pete Harvey, who has worked for Guest Motors for 50 years, has seen the business grow from strength to strength. Pete started in 1965 as an apprentice in Black Lake, where he worked in the body and parts department. Since then he has moved from apprentice, to General Manager for Car and Truck parts to now working in a part time Parts Marketing role. Pete also aided with the integration of the parts businesses of Sherwood Truck and Van and Guests. Pete was also lucky enough to find love at Guests, when he met his now wife, Sue in 1984. 

Pete said this, “Seeing Guests change and grow has been a fantastic achievement to watch and be a part of”. He added “the biggest change I’ve seen is the increase in the use of technology in vehicles. The Iveconnect system in trucks and vans is just fantastic; it is a world away from what trucks and vans used to be!”
