IVECO’s road of change brought to life by suppliers at 2023 CV Show

IVECO has teamed up with a range of innovative suppliers as it makes its first appearance the Commercial Vehicle show since 2018.

Pod Point – Selected as IVECO’s preferred charging partner, Pod Point’s wealth of experience can benefit all eDaily customers. Depending on customer requirements, Pod Point will offer AC charging from 7kW up to 22kW using either a Solo 3 or Twin charger and DC charging, both at a discounted price. Retail customers can also benefit from IVECO offering a free Solo 3 homecharger and installation, supporting a complete EV ecosystem solution.

EV Civils – The family-owned civil engineering company provides support with installing charge points across the UK with a net zero mission. Its experience in the utilities sector has led to a focus on EV charging and the invention of the ingenious EZ Block – a pre-cast concrete unit that reduces installation times and carbon emissions. EV Civils supplied the trailer utilised by the IVECO eDaily 3.5t van.

JCB – This famed British marque has helped demonstrate the eDaily’s 3.5-tonne class-leading towing capacity on the IVECO stand. Displayed on an EV Civils trailer, this new 1.9-tonne JCB E-Tech 19C-IE all-electric mini excavator points to the future of decarbonisation in the construction and utility industries.

Legend Fleet Solutions – Weight is an important factor when it comes to the payload of any commercial vehicle, and Legend Fleet Solutions provide a series of products designed to maximise capacity for cargo. Fitted to the IVECO Daily 3.5t Van, it is 53% lighter than other floors and improves the payload of the eDaily on show by over 72kg. The lightweight floor and Econolite interior van liner are impact resistant, anti-slip, and made from 75% recycled material.

Bodywork Solutions – Responsible for the lightweight box van body fitted to the IVECO eDaily 7.2t exhibited on the IVECO CV Show stand, Bodywork Solutions has incorporated a practical tail lift with a focus on maximising cargo carrying capacity for final mile missions.

Omnia Panels – Also contributing to the eDaily 7.2t Box Van, Omnia supplied the lightweight thermoplastic body panels that Bodywork Solutions used. These composite panels are made from 20% recycled materials and are fully recyclable themselves.

Trailar – On top of the IVECO eDaily Box Van is an innovative Trailer solar panel that can power the vehicle’s tail lift. Taking advantage of this solar energy to power equipment can save 25-30 miles of EV driving range during multi-drop delivery missions. This highly efficient solar panel can display real-time data on energy usage and capture to help optimise vehicle use.

IVECO would like to thank its supporting suppliers who came together to create a fantastic exhibition of electric vehicles on this year’s show stand.
