Guest Sherwood MD Rob Spittle Keeps It Clean On TV

Our very own Managing Director Robert Spittle took centre stage earlier this month, when he appeared on both ITV Central and Made in Birmingham TV to discuss the forthcoming Clean Air Zone (CAZ) in Birmingham. 

As Birmingham City Council continues to consult on proposals for the CAZ, we were invited to showcase two of our latest alternative fuel vehicles at the Clean Air Roadshow at Villa Park. 

The event, hosted by Motor Transport, gave commercial vehicle operators and associated businesses an opportunity to engage directly with the council about its air quality plans. 

The team from ITV Central chatted with Robert about how commercial vehicle operators can future-proof their fleets, before taking our gas-powered IVECO Stralis AS440S46TP LNG demonstration truck out for a spin. 

Meanwhile, the crew from Made in Birmingham TV dropped by our West Bromwich site recently to learn about the key benefits of switching to gas or electric. 

With the Birmingham CAZ due to be implemented in 2020, it’s great to see Guest in the limelight and at the forefront of the discussion.
