Advanced KFS Special Vehicles

Peter Gould was delighted to deliver an Iveco New Daily 50C15 4100wb Van to Advanced KFS Special Vehicles recently, which was converted to a minibus and is one of three so far.

Advanced Minibus Ltd and KFS Special Vehicles Ltd recently announced a merger of the two companies to form a new business Advanced KFS Special Vehicles Ltd.

Advanced Minibus have been in business for 30 years, with a base in Clay Cross Derbyshire, the facility has a full in house capability to produce all of its own seats, seat frame, floor frames and window assembly, in a year in excess of 200 vehicles are supplied, with GRP and seats also supplied to external customers.

KFS Special Vehicles have been in business for 13 years, with a base in Andover Hampshire, the facility has highly skilled staff and has the ability to prototype pre-production models, and over 130 vehicles are supplied per year across the country to a large variety of customers.

Both companies have a good reputation for quality and are recognised by numerous base vehicle suppliers for the various sectors they respectively work in.

The merger has given Advanced KFS Special Vehicles a superb product range with both companies operating in vehicle supply often with the same customer but not with the same product type, so the business has a broader appeal from single car transporters to full accessible van-based mini bus.

The company is headed by Ian knight in the role of Managing Director, Mark Adams as Production Director in Andover, Gary Robinson as Production Director in Clay Cross and Steve Elwell as Sales Director; overall the newly formed team have a combined experience of 100 years in the vehicle bodybuilding industry.
