Dakar 2017: strong IVECO line-up secures podium finish on day one

The 2017 Dakar is underway in South America, with 2016-winning Team PETRONAS De Rooy IVECO entering a three-strong fleet consisting of one IVECO Powerstar and two IVECO Trakkers. The three trucks are joined by a support fleet comprising six Trakker vehicles for the two-week long event – with the team scoring a podium finish on the opening day (2 January).

Iveco unveils Bio-LNG-powered Stralis Hi-Road

Iveco has unveiled a Stralis Hi-Road (AT440S33T/P (LNG/C)) powered by liquid biofuel – or Bio-LNG. The variant was launched at the inauguration of the BioGNVAL industrial pilot site at the Valenton plant in Val-de-Marne, France, and was fuelled for the event with gas produced by the facility’s wastewater treatment process.
